Deborah Hillier was born into a military family in Fort Hood, Texas, and she traveled across the United States until her parents settled in Northern Virginia in 1979. Ms. Hillier is the proud mother of two amazing young adults, one of which coaches lacrosse and the other is enrolled in college getting their degree in nursing. In her free time, she enjoys refinishing furniture, community service, long walks with her dog Stella, entertaining, and best of all - Lake Life!
Early in her career, she worked as a Diplomatic Receptionist with the Department of State, serving the Secretary of State during Diplomatic functions as a hostess. In 1994, Ms. Hillier discovered the world of Motorsports. In her position as vice president of Motorsports Marketing, Ms. Hillier managed 21+ multi & single-day trackside events, hosted over 5000 guests with a $3.4 million marketing budget and handled sponsorship contract budgets of $12 million for clients including Penske Racing, Stewart Haas Racing, McLaren and Mobil across NASCAR, ALMS, Indy Car and Formula 1.
Ms. Hillier transitioned her high paced drive and corporate business acumen to real estate in the Northern Virginia market. The competitive real estate landscape of the DMV is the perfect complement to Deborah’s long standing career in racing. Her business is finding clients their forever home and maximizing exposure for the sale of existing homes. She believes real estate is a partnership business, where homeowners can leverage her experience to navigate the real estate racetrack, carry the heavy load, and create the ultimate moving experience.
